Serves as a member of the Child Study Team in the identification, evaluation, planning and implementation of appropriate educational programs for students in need of special education and subsequent consultation with teachers, parents, and other personnel in matters involving students' social, emotional functioning and learning.  Counsels groups or individual students in accordance with IEP mandates.  Acts as a case manager to assigned students and engages in consultation with teachers, parents, and other appropriate personnel.
